The Cumberland C.A.R.E.S. Initiative 

A collaborative effort between the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office, the Cumberland County Law Enforcement Liaisons, the Cumberland County Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, and The Southwest Council, this volunteer program provides training, guidance, and support of others seeking freedom from addiction through peer-to-peer recovery mentoring.  C.A.R.E.S.  stands for Compassionate Addiction Recovery Equals Success. 

Those personally impacted by addiction, in long-term recovery, or wishing to make a difference in the recovery community are encouraged to apply below.
